Daniel M. Baker

Martindale Hubbell logoDANIEL M. BAKER (Dan) was born in Atmore, Alabama in 1960. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University in 1983, a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University in 1985, and a Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in 1988. Mr. Baker was selected to serve as a statewide mediator in a program administered by the Administrative Law Section of the Mississippi Bar Association and the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission. He served twenty years as an Armor Officer in the Mississippi Army National Guard and retired at the rank of Major. He is currently a member of the Hinds and the Mississippi Bar Associations and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators. Mr. Baker's practice concentrates on workers' compensation and he served as Managing Partner for the firm from 1999 - 2008.
