Nicholas D. Garrard
NICHOLAS D. GARRARD (Nick) was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi in 1981. He graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 2003 with a B.A. degree in broadcast journalism and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2006. While in law school, he was a student body senator, ABA-LSD student representative, chairman of the student faculty search committee and chairman of the Honor Council. Prior to joining Wilkins Tipton, Mr. Garrard was a judicial law clerk for the Eleventh Circuit Court District in Cleveland, Mississippi for Judge Albert B. Smith, III. A member of the Mississippi Bar, Mr. Garrard will be working in Jackson until he relocates to our North Carolina office at the end of 2012. His primary areas of practice include General Liability, Nursing Home/Long-Term Care Defense and Medical Malpractice Defense.
