SHARON MONCURE-MANGUM (Sharon) was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1976. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tougaloo College in 1999 and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Mississippi in 2002. While in law school, she was a Rock River Scholar for three years, a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and treasurer of the Constance Slaughter-Harvey Chapter of the National Black Law Student Association. She is a current member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association, the Mississippi Women Lawyers Association, and the Magnolia Bar. Ms. Moncure-Mangum’s practice primarily consists of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and insurance defense, as both coverage counsel as well as litigation counsel.
