Our New Employee Discovery Process.
At Wilkins Tipton, we enjoy a reputation as a respected regional firm with offices in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina. To that end, we strive to hire attorneys and staff members who are highly qualified and skilled.
Lawyers
Wilkins Tipton, recruits law students who exhibit personality, intelligence and the motivation to achieve associate positions with the firm. The firm invites applications on a national scale, but focuses its recruiting efforts on students attending regional law schools, as evidenced by its on-campus interviews held in these schools.
The summer clerkship program at Wilkins Tipton affords prospective associates the opportunity to experience many facets of civil litigation. During their clerkship, students may perform research and writing, and attend trials, depositions, hearings, and meetings with clients and experts. Social events are also held for the summer clerks. Although many Wilkins Tipton associates have been hired after completing the summer clerkship program, the firm also interviews and hires qualified students who have not clerked with the firm.
In addition to recruiting law students, the firm welcomes lateral applicants. Attorneys interested in applying to Wilkins Tipton should send a resume and letter to the firm's Executive Director, G.W. Flinn, at our Jackson office address.
Support Staff
Wilkins Tipton is proud of its experienced paralegals, nurses, secretaries and administrative staff who provide support and services to the firm. Qualified individuals interested in support staff positions should contact Judy Thorpe, Office Administrator.
Wilkins Tipton is an equal opportunity employer.
