WST Partner Jay McLemore is transferring from the office in Jackson, Mississippi to the Brentwood location to assume the position of Tennessee Managing Partner this summer.
"With the steady growth of our practice in Tennessee, I will primarily be focused on additional client development," according to Mr. McLemore. "While we have an office in Brentwood, we service clients throughout the state of Tennessee and expect our growth to continue."
Originally from Macon, Ga., Mr. McLemore received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University in 1993 and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law Samford University in 1996. With more than 90 percent of his practice devoted to litigation, he is admitted to practice law in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia as well as the federal courts. Mr. McLemore is also registered before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and provides counseling on patent-related issues. Mr. McLemore's practice consists primarily of products' liability defense, premises liability defense, and workers' compensation defense.
"We are excited about the growth opportunities in Tennessee," Mr. McLemore concluded. "Our firm is well positioned to serve the needs of our current and future clients."
