Carl Hagwood received a defense verdict in the Circuit Court of Washington County in a wrongful death case where it was alleged that an employed physician of Delta Regional Medical Center was negligent by failing to follow the appropriate standard of care for post-surgical management to prevent pulmonary embolus in the case of Janice Ervin, Deceased v. Delta Regional Medical Center, et al, Washington County Circuit Court No. CI2005-250. The Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law rendered by the Court were received on October 6, 2008.
