Flinn Named CEO of WS&T

        George W. Flinn has been named Chief Executive Officer of Wilkins, Stephens and Tipton, P.A.

        Mr. Flinn joined the firm Jan. 2 after coming from an international professional service firm, Deloitte, in Chicago where he served as Operations Manager for three offices. Prior to that, he was Director of Administration at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal law firm in Kansas City.

"He is a proven leader with notable successes in legal administration, human resources, professional services and project management. His guidance will enable us to better position our firm with our clients and in the markets we serve."

        Mr. Flinn will direct and oversee all aspects of the firm’s operations with offices in Jackson and Greenville, Mississippi as well as Nashville, Tennessee.

        A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Flinn commanded a Battalion Landing Team of 1,500 as a Lieutenant Colonel during Operations Desert Shield/Storm.

        During his 20-year military career, he also served as Aide-de-Camp to Mississippi native General Louis Wilson, Commandant of the Marine Corps.

        A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Flinn and his wife, Kitty, are the parents of four grown sons. They are currently residing in the Jackson area.
