Carl Hagwood obtained a defense verdict recently in a medical malpractice case filed against an anesthesiologist in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Complaint alleged that the anesthesiologist was negligent in the management of anesthesia when the patient at the time of induction and intubation aspirated, developed ARDS and subsequently expired.
The jury found that the anesthesiologist followed the appropriate standard of care and a defense verdict was rendered.
